Self Help Group (SHG)

Bastar Samagra Vikas Samiti promotes Self Help Groups (SHGs) to encourage community participation, self-reliance, and economic empowerment among rural families, especially women. Through group activities, awareness programmes, capacity building, and mutual support, members are encouraged to develop skills, manage resources, and explore opportunities for improving their livelihoods.

The Society supports SHGs as a platform for collective action, confidence building, and social development. By encouraging savings, cooperation, skill development, and responsible decision-making, these groups help members become more independent and contribute positively to their families and communities. The initiative reflects the Society’s commitment to “Love and Service” and sustainable community development.
